The beginning of the end – help bring bears home
In your latest edition of The Paw Print, you’ll find stories that are a testament to your kindness and incredible support.
You’re helping to make animal welfare history.
Thanks to you, we carried out a monumental rescue by welcoming two moon bears nicknamed Armstrong and Buzz into our brand new sanctuary in Bach Ma, Vietnam – the sanctuary that will spell the end of bear bile farming in Vietnam forever.
Then, soon after they landed safely at our sanctuary, we received a call about another bear in desperate need of rescue. This beautiful bear, who we’ve nicknamed Apollo, is the last bear, from the last bile farm in Hai Duong Province. That’s another province free from bear bile farming – forever.
Plus, read about elephants finding love, how you can help save dogs from the awful dog meat trade and read the latest update on Dawn, the bear who was so scarred from her time on a bile farm that she had developed ‘learned helplessness’.
